ImBeer Zone is the first beer zone in Leon, Nicaragua. At the moment we have selection of 6 national beers, 16 craft nicaraguan beers and 4 imported beers. With 26 different beers, types and brands, we can meet the expectations of customers with high taste for beer.

Toña, Victoria, Premium

The most popular beers in Nicaragua brewed by Compañía Cervecera de Nicaragua, S.A.

Toña is a lager beer with 4.6% alcohol. It was introduced in 1977 by Industrial Cervecera, S.A. as a direct competitor of the Victoria brand. After the merger in 1996, CCN relaunched the brand as a traditional Nicaraguan beer, often associated with culture and local customs.

Victoria is a pils with an alcohol content of 4.9%. This was introduced in 1942 and is the oldest and one of the most popular beers in Nicaragua.

Victoria Frost is a pils with 4.9% alcohol and the only beer in Nicaragua that is brewed by microfiltration. Premium is a lager beer with 4.5% alcohol which was introduced in 1999 and aimed at consumers who prefer imported brands.

Victoria Maestro

Victoria Maestro is the first dark beer introduced by CCN which has 5.1% of alcohol content. It was first introduced in 2011 and is only available during the winter between October to February.

Mytos

Mytos is brewed by Compañía Cervecera de Nicaragua, S.A. and is the one of the first craft beer lines produced in Nicaragua. The line is exclusive and limited, made with imported malts from Germany. Currently Mytos is available in three types: Pale Ale, Amber Ale and Kellerbier. The Kellerbier is available all year long. The Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Weissbier and the Summer Ale are released seasonally. 

Moropotente

Craft beer produced by Compañía Cervecera del Moropotente, S.A. from Carazo, Nicaragua.

Lado Oscuro (Dark Side): Is an exquisite type of stout beer with notes of coffee and chocolate. It’s name is inspired by the song by Jarabe de Palo, named so because we all have a dark side.

19 días (19 Days): Is a Blonde Ale with tropical fruit notes and a light malty finish. It’s name is inspired by the song by Joaquin Sabina, 19 días y 500 noches (19 days and 500 nights). That is how long it takes for you to forget the flavour after trying it for the first time.

La Porteña

Craft beer La Porteña Cervecería Artesanal made in San Juan del Sur.

Golden Ale (lager): A gold coloured opaque ale with a robust body and intense aroma given by the combination of malts, with a mildly citrus and bitter finish of hops.

Red Ale (Red beer) An Amber-red color, this ale has a more delicate and subtle aroma body driven by Pilsen malts and caramel undertones which results in a unique flavour.

Pinolera

Craft beer made by Cerveza Artesanal Pinolera from Managua. Unique beer made with malt, oats, honey, hops, spices (cinnamon, anise, cloves) and yeast. Pinolera has four types of beer: Trigueña, Blonde, Brunette and Stout, each showcasing distinct flavours and blends.

Erdmann’s

Erdmann’s Craft Beer is made in Ticuantepe. This a unique beer that is 100% handmade according to the tradition of German monks. It incorporates hops, yeast, malted barley or wheat, and spring water. Its second fermentation occurs in the bottle which brings natural sediment that can be seen at the bottom of each bottle, in addition to its soft natural carbonization. Erdmann’s is a high quality beer, free of additives and preservatives and features a range of flavours including Koelsch, Altbier and Hefeweissbier.

Koelsch comes from the region of Cologne, characterised by its light golden color with slightly bitter but refreshing taste (alc .: 5,6%).

Altbier is a typical full-bodied dark beer from the Duesseldorf region. Rich in flavour with a smooth finish (alc .: 6,7%).

IPA (India Pale Ale), is the only featured non German recipe and is made with 4 different types of hops. Stronger in taste and more bitter than the rest, it seduces with its delicate floral and resinous bouquet (alc .: 6,5%).

Hefeweissbier comes from Bavaria, and is a combination of exotic tropical fruits and herbs. This beer is a true culinary art and features to name just a few ingredients: guayaba, lemongrass, ginger, passion fruit, coriander seed as well as orange and mango peel (alc .: 6%).

Oktoberfest is a limited line available only in October. It’s name refers to the big beer festival that takes place in Munich every year.  (6.8% alc .:)
